HEIC is common for iPhone photos. JPG is widely compatible, but uses lossy compression and does not preserve metadata, transparency, or HDR/P3/10-bit fidelity.
Limits in this version
The tool accepts one .heic file at a time, up to 6,000 px on its longest side and 13 MP. HEIF, sequences, multiple frames, and the video part of Live Photos are not public support in this version.

The HEIC file and generated JPG are processed locally in the browser.
Will a full Live Photo be converted?
The tool converts only the HEIC still image. The associated Live Photo video is not processed.
